Suspension parts just always add up no matter what you do but.. if you want the decent stuff at decent prices you have a couple options. For shocks/struts: tokico illuminas, kyb agx, koni. For springs or coilovers, people usually go with eibach. Some of the cheaper stuff is shaddy or just plain crap, esp the stuff they sell on ebay, you just gotta becareful what you buy. I bought ground control coilovers by eibach and kyb agx gas shocks/struts for my awd 2g and it totaled to around 650ish I think? This was a year ago so I'm sure stuff has become cheaper. Now if you want to spend a little more and get a true coilover you can get some teins, but again depending on your budget. The teins are getting a little cheaper, not sure how much they're running right now. But yea, the above is usually what I've seen people put on their dsm's.

Tokico makes a very nice spring/shock combo kit for the 2G, Enes has it and seems very happy with it. Plus the drop looks really nice. http://machv.com/tokshocpac.html

If you want coilovers, Tein makes some very nice setups, but stay away from JIC. Also, avoid the cheap eBay coilovers. I used to have GroundControls but really don't recomend them to anyone.

Ebay as far as suspension goes, No way im too smart for that. Jic is made for overpriced jdm super drift cars.. not awd dsm's. Also thanks for the info.

I have a used set of Koni's with Ground Controls I'd let go for $800. I bought them last year for that price and still haven't installed them because I'm not happy with the car yet.

Deniss Grant recommends (or used to recommend) Koni's and GC's as the best budget setup.

jic is good suspension. just way way too much money.

as for the cdeutsch offer-if you still have them in lets say 4 weeks lol cause thats when id have the money count em gone. I got a list of stuff I need to get so ill get back to you. If they are still available i could probably do 800 but ill do some more research first
