Aliright, so im almost done rebuilding my 4g63t and I realized that I overlooked that Ineed freeze plugs still.

I had the machine work done at wags, (hot tanked, honed, reconditioned rods, new bearings pistons, rings ect...) Needless to say, does anyone know what plugs (just the 8?), if there are any other things that need to be put in?
I've never had a motor tanked before so im a little in the dark. What Size plugs, I belive they're either a 35 or 40mm.

I'm planning on going up to Brookdale since neither Advanced nor Napa carry the plus I need, unless I use a caliper (which I don't have).

Thanks for any help.

Brookdale should have them, otherwise talk to wags, they should beable to set you straight.
Put a thin layer of RTV around the edge of the plug, and they do take a bit of effort to knock in.

Shouldn't be too hard to measure them. 40mm = 1 9/16" and 35mm = 1 3/8" if you don't have a metric tape measure.

thats a pretty big difference, you should be able to see that. its 5mm.

If you need i may be able to stop out there with my caliper. I am always going up that direction anyways. Let me know.
