hey i have a 91 tsi awd. and it has a super 16g on it and i lose power at 5k rpm, i know i need a safcII but i was curious if i needed anything else to help it better, it has a 255lph fuel pump 550cc injectors, but my other problem is i dont understand the safcII and was curious if someone who has used one or is using one could help me...or also Mike had told me about a 2g mas, and a data link or sumthing like it...if anyone can help or has suggestions please let me know......Mike

im kinda lost on this cuz i want it right. but this is the 3rd time ive rebuilt this motor because of some people i know down south that like to wreck stuff, but i dont want it to happen again

well what kind of power loss is it does the car totally shut off or does it just stop pulling? Are you running 550's w/o any fuel system?

it stops pulling, and mike told me beings i had the 550's just to put em in. So im thinkin its leaning out pretty bad, so that why im asking

but no it doesnt have any type of fuel system just the pump and injectors

It is probably way too rich and/or hitting MAF overrun.

Yeah, you can't run bigger injectors without a way to compensate for it. The car thinks it still has 450's in it, so it is putting way more fuel in that what it should be. Get the SAFC installed.

could someone help me set up the safc, i know how to install it but never used one before and id rather not mess it up, or should i take it someplace

Take it to a shop and have them tune it after you install it. If you need the car asap call ahead to make sure they are not backed up 3 weeks.
