I have a 90 FWD turbo Eprom ECU that burned out yesterday. I bought a refurbished one off ebay and if i send the core back they'll give me $100. I have a couple questions:

1. How much could I get for this?
2. Can I take the Eprom chip out?
3. Should I just send it as the core?

thanks for the help

Might as well just send it in as a core. I couldnt see you ever getting more than 150 for it anyways. The only guy on here I know of that would possibly be interested in it fell of the face of the earth.

Did you get another 90 ECU? A 91-94 isn't a direct swap. The 90 EPROMs seem to be quite rare, but I don't know if anyone would want a broken one.

Actually. What's wrong with it? Capacitors? If it's the capacitors, keep it and replace them. How much did you pay for a refurbed one? I sold a 90 AWD 5 spd ecu for like 75 dollars a couple months back. Cap replacement costs like 20-50 dollars. Or do it yourself..

Hell if it is just capacitors I'll give you $100 for it because it is an EPROM.
