I remember it happening, I was in high school, our class TV sucked.
I remember signing up in the National Guard
I remember my deployment in iraq.
And then my life was rocked to its foundation when I saw (and understood) this:

We won't ever forget what happened, and people are still feeling the effects of it. Many of the people involved in the rescue efforts have become sick due to the dust and such.

I remember being scared shitless because I had just joined the Marines, and didn't want to go to war.

Finally, do you know how much scrolling I had to do to find this?
If my math is correct, which it is, 6 minus 1 is 5.
But even without newspaper or tv, i hear and see a bunch about it.

I was on the bus to my middle school! I had no clue what the Twin Towers were! But It was played on the radio on the school bus! My bus driver was terrified and started calling people! People screaming over the Bus Radio! Arrived to school, my home room teacher had no clue! Then I told him. We watched and watched as the day went, Kid's were slowly getting pulled out! I can still remember peoples faces on the screen! I wanted in the Army but being and 8th grader! Damn I'm getting worked up a bit.

Haha, we're not old, he's too young. I was in my dorm, and getting ready for class and just turned on the tv which I usually didn't do. they said all the air traffic had been grounded, but The f16's were flexing nuts overhead. There's an airforce base accross the street from NDSU.
