Oh damn. They were saying it wasnt final until tomorrow but I guess it is. Oh well.
Martz for the Rams... gone, Sherman for the Pack... gone, Capers for the Texans...gone. LOL
There's a lot of shakin goin on.
Don't for get about Jim Haslett of the Saints, and Dick Vermeil retireing.
Yup, it's probaly got a few more in the works as well. I think the cowboys will need a new coach next year.
What do you guys think about some of these teams not going for everything in the final games of the season even when there is really nothing to play for but pride. I was reading this article ( http://nfl.com/news/story/9140954 ) on NFL prime time going away as well and down a ways on another subject they mention punting, and they have talked about this a few weeks going now in the same colum.... here's a clip:
"Why Are You Punting??????? (Matched Set): Schottenheimer wasn't the only coach who quit on a game on New Year's Eve. Giants leading 20-14 in the third quarter, Oakland faced fourth-and-1 on its 15. Norv Turner sent in the punt unit. If you can't gain one single yard, why did you even bother showing up for the game! (Yes, later Oakland would fail from the Jersey/A 1.) Outraged, the football gods allowed Chad Morton of Jersey/A to return the punt to the Oakland 2, where the Giants scored to make it 27-14. Then Giants leading 30-21 with 7:22 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Raiders faced fourth-and-10 at midfield; again, Turner sent in the punt unit. You're 4-11, what have you got to lose! Go all out to try to give the home crowd a finale win! And now you are 4-12. "
It's seen all to often. Does anyone care if they don't make it and get scored on right away again if it won't have any impact on the season. If the fans want a win, why not give it every god damn ounce and go after it, earn those millions of dollars.
There's also much much more written up in the article worth reading, including a little shot at Tice. lol
What a playoff game!
I've got a "IF" bet set up on the over line for the Redskin vs Bucs game and I get paid out if the point total is over 36.5. I should be good. Then I took Jags over NE with the money line!
Glad the skins won, but FUCK i lost on that game as they didn't score shit afterwords!

I cant believe both the Patriots and the Colts lost this weekend. What an upset. The Colts-Steelers game ended up being a pretty good game though.
I know, that Pittsuburgh game was closer than it should have been. The refs made some HORRIBLE calls in favor of the colts. But A great game, got a great ending. I'm glad the Bus has a chance to redeem that last carry now. I had a $10 bet on Pitts as well and was paid out my $1 plus another $34. WooT!
The Panthers are going to tear the Bears a new asshole.
I'm going with the superbowl as Pittsburgh vs Carolina with Pitts taking it home and winning 27 - 14.
