Saturday night, me and my buddy decided to kick it at home and drink a couple beers and take the motor out of his car. We had to have a little MORE fun before we took out the motor though...
First off, this is the same car we popped off the waste gate line. The car was smoking out of the breather and we were having a rough time getting fuel for some reason lol.
Tauni, her friend, and my good friend chad showed up. Kc got the bright idea to throw some sea foam through a vacuum line and give it a go. His excuse was " it will make everything cleaner!" but in all reality, it was just another reason to beat on it.
So KC hops in Taunis car with a cam corder, and off we go. The car is SO fucked, I didnt really get to woop on it. But we flew around the neighbor hood at 10pm with no hood, smoking coming out of every crevits of the thing. It was fun. I will see if i can get the stupid vid hoested somewhere.
Anyways, we get back to KCs with kc and chad and we got going at it. About 30 minutes into it, Tauni and her friend start grabbin wrenches!! Lol, they took off the DP, PS, heat shield etc. Hell I coulda just sat there and watched. Granted they had issues with finding the correct tools, but it was just great! Yes the odd part is that they are women, but I guess it isnt much of a shock knowing that she likes DSM's and all.
We then went to perkins ( tranny / suspension only parts left) and Nate shows up. Im sure he was shocked with all of us but yea. We went back to kcs ( KC, nate and I) to finish the job. I swear to god. We spent 2 hours just disconnecting the Xfer case and the axles!! haha, I guess thats what happens when you are tired and want to sleep after eating a bunch of food.
kc and I tried disconnecting the DP bracket for like an hour lol. Nate was just laughing. We were about to just grab a fucking hack saw and saw that bitch off. Eventually we got the Xfer case off. Sadly enough those 2 small parts took as much time as the rest haha. The motor still sits there in the mounts because I was too pissed to finish lol.
It will probably come out soon here, but yea. Just decided to share the odd night.
