So I already realize that this is completely retarded. Im losing my license as of the 24th of august. I have a completely stock talon Tsi and I was going to throw in my MBC and turn up the boost as far as it would go just for shitz because I was completely bored. Josh told me not to do it because we didnt have the right T and we didnt have any block off nipples. He was joking and suggested " hey, why not just pop off the vacuum line off the fucking waste gate! That should be great for your motor / turbo! ) Well, since the motor is getting overhauled and basically everything will be new once I get my license back, I decided to take him literal and just go for it!

The first time we pulled in 3rd gear, my head slammed up against the seat. I was shocked. Bad news is, it was all down hill from there lol. Josh told me to feather the gas and use the gas pedal as my boost controller. And it turns out that was true, at WOT the car was sort of doggish. I suppose the 14b was probably more of a blow dryer, but when I feathered it, it was actually MUCH quicker. I was shocked. There are no fuel mods or anything.

By the time we got home, oil fumes were BLOWING out of the breather, I had 2x as much smoke coming out of the exhaust and it feels like I'm losing a cylinder. I'm not looking for help, I just thought I'd share our childish experience.

Have a great night, it's now time to drink!

wow. that's like animal cruelty, except worse. You should have video taped it. Do you have a boost gauge? How much boost were you seeing?

When I said stock, I meant stock. There is no boost guage. Apparently we were only running 14 psi ;)

I was totally not joking. Thats how bored we were. It was a good time.

The motor is getting rebuilt, the head is getting ported / valve seals, New tranny / clutch, 16g turbo... it really doesnt matter if we broke anything.

Its not that crazy providing the circumstances.. The motor in the car has bad valve seals and one cylinder is far below the service line.

Hopefully you were planning on new valves and possibly a new head too! The aluminum from the pistons likes to collect on the valves and isn't very easy to get off. If you get too much detonation you can also erode the chambers in the head. You should have at least put race gas in it to give the car a chance!

DSMs break just fine on their own, there is no need to speed up the process.
