Scott @ VPE got my turbo back from Innovative Turbos. It was sent back because there was a rough feeling in one of the bearings that I didn't like, I had a concern it would fail upon start-up and then Innovative would say it was related to something else like contaminated oil or what-ever. So I sent it back. They were also supposed to ceramic coat the center section, but they had forgotten to do it. So since it was going back, I had them fix that also.

I'm still waiting for my mani to be finished. :(

Here's how it looks now  for anybody wondering if they would want it done also.

I like the idea of ceramic coating the center section...how long will that hold up? Is the turbine housing coated as well?

Isn't al-ceramic coating supposed to only be good up to 1600*F?

It should hold up better than the exhaust housing since it doesn't get quite as hot.
