I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find a cheap 1g (anything) for my winter beater. Preferably a Laser, and less than a grand.
Thanks.

Well you could try the internet websites.

www.Autotrader.com
www.carsoup.com
www.cars.com
www.dsmtrader.com

Then you can watch DSMstyle in the Cars for sale area, as well as MNSC.

Looking for FWD? AWD? I assure you that AWD turbo in the winter is both fun / easier to drive.

I was going to post up the 1.8 for sale soon, but I think it's already spoken for.

Damn allen, that is crazy! I never got an offer on my 1.8! Of course it was equiped with EBAY rims and a Drift body kit!!! Haha.

1.8s are sooooooo weak but they are so much more reliable =/ If he still has it for sale tauni, it wouldnt be a bad idea. I think hes pimping my old bumper ;)

The 91 galant sounds like it could be a good winter beater, but if I was driving your NT talon I would use it as a daily driver. I plan on using my gst all year round as long as it is running. Why don't you want to drive your car in the winter?

Im guessing its because its in immaculate shape. It doesnt have many miles and its a pretty car. Why drive something nice in the winter when you dont have to? ;) I could be way wrong, maybe she wants an AWD for easier drivablity in winter.

Man... talking about winter cars already. This is ghey. I want my car NOW.

The 1.8 rocks! Not for someone who needs a radio, working door locks, or sexy appearance. BUt it rocks out with 30mpg, AC and heat and takes everything thrown at it so far. What more can you ask for.

I want a winter beater, because like Josh said, My car is in great shape, and I plan to try to keep it that way. At this point, I've come to the sad reality that I'd have to go threw way to much shit to make that thing fast, so I plan on at least keeping it in good shape. Then when it finally dies, I'll buy something faster. In the mean time, I want to keep it as nice as possible. I'm a real freak about my car looking great.

You could just wash it often if rust is your concern, but it looks like you don't want to worry about wrecking it or racking up the miles.

Exactly. Plus I'm lazy.
