View Full Version : Used DSMs
If you really want to know why don't you call him and find out if he did work on the car, I am sure he would remember.
Do you know how OLD Rick is?!? :D

No, he wouldn't remember. He spent all day on my Talon hunting down an oil leak, couldn't find it, didn't charge me, and then two days later when I brought it back up he had mentioned I had an oil leak, but couldn't find where it came from. I would venture to say he probably can't remember where he lives if he left for more than a day... Nice guy though.
You guys are vicious!!!
its like thring a t bone steak to a pack of wolfs!

I am guessing rick didn't do the fmic and stuff. I thought I heard blake wanted the car really bad from rick with not much really done it and bought it. I am guessing rick already did the hg and t belt but who knows how many miles were on it since blake got it and sold it. I was wondering what happened to him.
a DSM that has changed hands many times is like a $2 hooker.
You can expect anything from it, and it is probably falling apart.

I remember Blake, he was all hot to trot to buy my car and calls me up a few days later saying he bought a car from Rick that wasn't even ready to sell yet. I throw out a wild guess here and say Blake screwed up what Rick had done to that car, he was too cheap to pay someone else to do what he could not.
I remember Blake. He bought the car from shindley. I believe shindleys neighbor painted the car for him. I remember him saying he had a a bunch of parts including a turbo (some odd hybrid which he compared WG flappers with someone at the dynofest), fmic, injectors, etc.

Blake was a nice kid the few times I dealt with him. And yes that was kind of a harsh comment towards Rick. I've been his customer a few times, and agian, he has done good work for me. But, I must say overall the car has been, and looks problem-less. I think I got a decent deal for the car the way it sits.
