So, I was leasurly driving to McD's to get a flurry, with my friends. I noticed latley that the clutch pedal has been getting lower and lower to the ground, and even told cher that we'd hafta bleed and swap the slave cylinder out soon( we just did the master-that screw is all the way out) well, what never ceases to amaze me..my slave cylinder blew up! LThe gasket tore all up to crap..the piston has gouges on it, and the rod is bent at like a 40 degree angle. We swapped on the side of the road a slave cylinder, but then the fork fell out. that heavy dudty looking thing..it snapped in half! wtf!? What did I do to break it? I honestly am scurred poopless of beating on these cars for the tranny issues..but the fork? dayum! So, anyone got a fork? or can tow, cause enes isnt pickin up..

Jim just broke one a few months ago with the same exact symptoms that you described other than the slave cylinder falling apart.

My slave blew to shit and the rod was bent too. Sounds like what happened to mine like Matt said, adjusting the master rod only made your worn out stuff worse and broke the fork. I'm sure your fork was bent so you adjusted your master rod/nut and then you really bent the shit out of your fork until it snapped. Sucks.

It happens. Do you have a 2600 or a stock clutch?

A new fork is pretty reasonable from the dealer (less than $60 I think). You may as well replace the fulcrom at the same time.
