Hey guys,

The 3/S National Gathering was this last weekend. There was some pretty fast cars there. But the one most note worthy is MN 3/S's own Mark Wendlandt who won the quick 8 competition with a scorching 10.76 @ 131.8mph. Mark's 91 Stealth R/T TT is full weight. Thats right a 3,700 lbs Stealth with a 10.76 1/4 mile run. Mark's car is the fastest, full weight 3/S, in the world!

I know 10s are nothing new for the DSM world, but with our heavy beasts its a hell of a big deal for 3/S nuts. Just wanted to share. :)

Of course you can all see Mark's black Stealth at the All Mitsu Cookout in a few weeks. ;)

Curt

What kind of times did the Dynamic Racing guys pull off?

Wow, maybe he shop be teaching some of the backasswards 3s shops what to be doing.

Did he get to dyno it before he went?

There was no 3/Ss running from Dynamic Racing. Matt Monet couldn't make it.

Mark did dyno down at RS Motors a couple of weeks ago. His best pull was 507hp. I think he still has the record down at RS.

And Shane, you are right, there are some ass backwards 3/S shops around.

I thought he was going to dyno again before the meet. It must be making over 600awhp on RS's dyno now to run that quick at that weight.

Yeah, I was going to say, 507whp and 3700lbs don't add up.

Yep, I agree. I'm not sure what additional tuning he has done since the dyno. I think most of us were surprised when Mark got into the 10s. His previous best with his old engine and turbos was 11.6. So he took another .9 seconds off of that. Just amazing!!

Here is his full timeslip:
60ft: 1.7371
330ft: 4.6281
1/8ET: 7.0110
1/8mph: 102.72
1000 ET: 9.0582
1000mph: 120.31
1/4 ET: 10.7601
1/4 MPH: 131.88

I'm pretty sure he turned up the boost a bit at the track. I think it was around 25psi on the dyno and 29psi at the track.
