Should I REALLY put them back on or not?

See alot of people runiing without them?

Do NEED to run with them on?

Whats the pros <besides avoiding the PIA> and cons of reinstalling them?

TIA.........

I've seen fans that have had obvious better days from cars without them.

Just paint them with High temp grille paint. Ive had silver paint on mine for 2+ years and its been holding up great. Only colors Ive found are black and silver at home depot for grille paint.

If I could run my bottom sheild I would but I cant because of the Ext. wastegate.

Heat sheilds are there for a reason - to protect other parts from heating up and keeping the heat from penetrating everything.

I know there is an upper and lower heat shield on the exhaust and a sort of shield on the back of the power steering pump (1g). Should there also be a shield on the back of the alternator?

Nothing on the altenator, its protected by the lower 02 housing heat shield.
