thanks guys
it is going to be in the booth all weekend. will start to put it ack together monday.

then the front end will come off so I can put in a new tranny in and paint the engine bay flat black

do you have to bake the paint? or can it cure on its own? never understood the process of painting complete. or i should say never researched full step by step painting process...

But either way the car is going to look sweet!

you can get by just fine with just spraying it and letting it cure on its own.

Let it sit in the sun for a while and the UV's will bake it. When it gets baked in an "oven" it isn't actually heat that bakes the paint, it is UV lights.

I am just letting it sit no heat
I could have baked it at 140f to get it to kick but paint will take up to 6months to fully cure
come monday it will be wet sanded then dry sanded and buff the hell out of it

Looks awesome, thats alot of work but its well worth it!
