I was driving home from dunwoody yesterday. all was fine till I was 1/2 a mile from my place off of noble and 610 when the car just died. luckly I was able to cose in to the little shopping center on noble.
when I got it back to my place looked it over. The car turned over but the t-belt did not move at all. So in about 100f. I pushed my bros car and the new parts car out of the way to get it up front.
It turned out to be the intake cam froze up hard and the t-belt stripped out.
It real sucks sence I just got my lic back after over a year of haveing it revoked, and just got the car up and running right after I did a compleat turbo swap to it and built it all up.
Now it has a jackson auto head and hks 272's that was going to use for my new motor for my spyder

Is the head from Jackson one of their CNC ported models?

You sure the intake cam was completely frozen? What brand of timing belt were you running?

that really sucks about your car, but about that 100 degree heat... i had like a 10 hour day of moving peoples crap. ;)

and you must have had really low oil pressure for a cam to seize.. or wrong torque settings. iunno

I know it was compleat ley frozen sence I had to losen all the cam cap to get it to even move at all. the cam was not getting any oil in 3 of the guides. I run oem belts from mitsu.
I have good press all the time and they were torqued right I have done alot of dsm motors
it is the same people that do the cc heads

Dam! Completely frozen to up and running. Are you sure it's safe to run it without thoroughly checking it over?
