Mine (a ZX6R) is about 550lbs with me on it. I would say a ZX6 weighs more. probably closer to 600 or just a little over. Doesn't matter though, he'll still get beat by it.

That turbo has taken down bikes before, why not again?

Yeah, but think about who's car it's in... :D

You will want a car capable of trapping 120 mph in the 1/4 mile is able to keep up and slowly pull on a 600cc bike. BPU supras do it all the time. I raced a ZX7, R1, R6, and 750cc something, and was able to keep up/beat them at high 500whp. The R1 was obviously the closest of them all.

Same setup as john had but less compression and maybe smaller injectors. I will wait and get it tuned on race gas then see what happens.

A bike is going to crush 95% of the cars on here. A ZX6 would run low 12's in the 1/4 with a good rider. It is pretty old school technology (early 90's). The new 600's are now mid 10's. My 1000 is good for 9.7's in the 1/4 at almost 150. I will have my bike at a track day next month to see what I can do on it. Rider skill is a HUGE deal on a bike, so even though a bike shouldn't have been beaten, they have been because the rider sucks.

So what hp do you think would be needed to take it from a roll? It is the first bike this kid has riden and he hasn't had it that long. He just got the title in the mail today.

For frum rolls you need to look at the mph in the 1/4. His bike is probably going to trap in the low 120's, so you would probably need ~450 whp to be with him.
