I was driving down a road with my busted up DSM ( front end smashed). My hood doesnt latch down anymore so I had it bungie corded. I must have hit a bump and got the wind right because it sure as hell flew up and smashed my windshield ;) I thought it was funny. I kept driving down the road like ave ventura pet detective heh. The car was already totalled so this really doesnt do anything besides force me to clean the glass out from inside my car ( yes it busted into the car heh).

Erik did't you just do that when you were home last? So much for selling that perfect windshield!! haha

ok. The car was T - O - T - A - L - L - E - D. I could care less about the windshield, i thought it was hilarious. Erik on the other hand, x1genx , he needs a windshield installed....

Dang man that happened to me in my old saturn, cept I was driving down the highway and the hood stuck down to the windshield. It wasn't so good, I couldn't see shit.

At work we had accidentally forgot to latch a hood down on a car(I wasn't involved). But the safety latch had rusted through and as soon as he got onto 94 and going about 50mph the hood flew up shattered his windshield and sprayed glass on him. He came back with the car and I had to go up there on my day off to fix it... All I ended up doing was taking some really long screws and screw the hood down to the core support. Our insurance was taking care of it anyway, and he needed the car. So he drove a car for a week with a shitty windshield and a hood that would not open. At the end of the week the motor seized due to oil starvation, he couldn't check or fill becuase he claimed he didn't have a phillips screwdriver... Right.

Otherwise it was fun, I still have pictures of me drilling these big ass screws into some guys hood.
