Out of the Blue yesterday I got a PM from Craig saying that Jet was in Miami and that he was trying to get a hold of me.

And it was a good thing he did too. Man did it ever Rain yesterday night. And with the new car having Road Racing Slicks on the Back it must have been quite the handful trying to keep that car tracking straight in the standing water we had.

Typical Summer here I guess, Nice Mornings with Rain all afternoon.

We had flooding yesterday. And Jet got out of the Rain right as it really started to come down.

Have to say the new Car looks Quit Nice. I had to ask him, if he was really going to part it out. Cause it looked nice except for the back window which I'm sure was a result of the Florida Sun. (Sun+PlexiGlass must not go together well)

Anyways it was good seeing Jet, yesterday. Hope he has a Safe trip home.

I offered to put him up at my parents place in South Carolina if he went that way, but he said he's going to try to make it father then that on his way up to Ohio.

Best of luck hope it's a safe trip....

So who's going to be the next MN down here to visit? (I recommend coming down after Oct. Weather gets nice again. Upper 70's with Light Breeze all day and Night. Fantastic weather.

Cancun is always sweet! But you have to be a partier to enjoy it to the fullest.

If you like Swimming go to Cozumel

Hi Brian! Jet went to Florida to pick up a car? Sounds almost like me with my old GS-T. A buddy and I flew to San Francisco to pick it up and drive it all the way back nonstop 34 hours. Only stops were gas fill ups and drive thru fast food. Drove to Ohio border to pick up my current 99 GSX.

Ya I went with a Friend to pick up a 1998 Silver GSX from Ohio Drove straight through, test drove the car, paid for it and drove straight back. (wasn't to much fun but still one of those stories you can say you did)

Anyways would have been cool if jet stayed an extra day could have showed him the sites. (takes but 1 day to do hehehe)

I'm not much of a Bar go'r but I do know where some good ones are from listening to the other sales people talk.

This area is more for the beach, and nice living. Not very tourist orientated.

I'm now the Assistant Production Manager for the company now. Since I've been here our company has switched focus from Shingle Roofs to Mainly Tile.

Reason being is there is much, much, much more money in it. for instance. As sales man you split the profit with the company 50/50.

on your Typical Shingle Roof Say my house in MN since most people on here have seen it. it was a 2800 Sq. house (ruffly 35sq roof)

at 320 a square that would be a cost of $11,200 for a new roof) typically you make 13% of the total contract so that's would be $1456 in commission.

Well with tile not only are typically the house's bigger (60sq or more) but the price per sq is more like $900-$1500) when really we only need to be charging like $500 sq.)

Typically on Tile Roofs you make about 30% profit. Example.

I gave a lead to my friend Mike and from that lead he was refered to a tile house.

Starts at 2story, and then goes up to 3 story it's an 8/12 pitch. (so we can charge 2&3story charge plus we can charge steep charge)

The house is 95 squares and he got $1500 per sq for it. His commission off this 1 house is looking to be right around $40,000. (I keep kicking myself for giving him that lead)
