I didnt see the interior of the car. He was on the opposite side of the road in the far lane away from me, so I only saw the nice big front mount. It didnt look riced out either, it looked almost stock. Well..thats the first turboed 3G that I've seen so far...:).

I beat a black 3g with a built race motor and a big 16g turbo last year. He had 33x whp. I havent seen him this year though. He had a big sidemount i/c instead of a fmic though.

Thats Peter, beter known as Hector. Its a Purple GT.

I thought it was black but after talking to him I found out it was a GT. I thought he had a GS badge on it or something. That was last spring before my car broke when I had the 20g on it. If it wasn't for a good launch both times I raced him and him trying to find traction, he might have won. I know I wasn't pulling on him top end. It was like I pulled a few cars off the line and we were pretty even after. I'd race him again this year if the car ever gets running.

It was funny because we both wanted to race a 3s. The 3s didn't want to be first so he raced an integra and really kicked his ass. He wanted to race me first but I was holding off because I thought it would be a waste of a race. After seeing him race the other car, I realized he had more than an intake. He was pretty nice, I talked to him afterwards.

How do you tell if a 3G is boosted?

By the sound of it detonating as you pass it.

The ECU's on those cars run way too much timing for boost, even if you lower the compression ratio. Ripp Mods won't sell their piggyback computer seperate of their supercharger kit and the E-Manage and MSD timing control doesn't seem work on them, so how you get correct timing without a standalone, I don't know.

Buy a real DSM, then you don't have to worry about it.

On topic though, I have seen this guy around(hector), and pretty well embarassed him on the highway.

We'll see. John Basol is going to be using the E-manage on his twin turbo 3G Eclipse. If anyone can get it to work, he can.

I'll stop giving him credit now. ;) (bad Curt, bad Curt)

If I ever see him this summer I will make sure he gets there. He works at a checker somewhere in the metro I just cant think of which one.

His name is Pete. How'd you guys get to know him by Hecktor?? lol thats kinda funny. He is a really cool guy for sure! I have his number and all so I'll make sure he makes it to the cookout, if he wants to come. He wont pop the hood though. It took me over two years of knowing him just to see under there once! But things change so well see. He did some other things to his setup so it should be a little nicer.

What's so secret about a 300whp setup?
