Anyone read about it? Seen it yet? Read about it having the MIVEC system, isnt that going to be weird in that motor? I havent been studying too much about the MIVEC system, but i hear its almost the same as VTEC, VVTL-i, CVTC, etc. But for people who are going to get this car, the engine, wouldnt it be difficult to make more power from it becuase you would have to work with the mivec system? similiar to vtec, vvti, etc...yep. Just had thoughts and just want to see what you guys think of the Evo 9.
Yeah, because the V-tec cars can't make any power!

MIVEC is nothing like V-TEC in design, the v-tec design has a more radical effect on the engine.
We will have to wait and see what the EVO shops can do with the new mivec engines.
BTW, MIVEC in the EVO is really MIVEC minus the EC. The EVO doesn't recieve the full MIVEC treatment, just the valve timing which is like an adjustable cam gear thats controlled by the ECU. MIVEC in the EVO is far inferior to v-tec.

One of our 3S members from Japan who's always up on the latest Mitsu news didn't have anything good to say about it. Doesn't sound like the tuners over there are too happy about it either. I'd stick with non-Mivec and 272 cams until Mivec has proven itself.
