Yeah, so I got a flat yesterday. Normally I wouldn't bitch too much about it, but I was on my bicycle and ran over a piece of glass, and well, yeah. I got a flat. I was about 8 miles from home. And this was on the bike I just bought that probably only has about 100 miles on it. Of course I didn't have a patch kit, or a spare tube, or even a tire pump. Fortunately I was smart enough to at least bring a cell phone. So I got a ride home, blah, blah, blah, $60 later I have a new tire, new tube, and an air pump.
I guess it wasn't too bad, it could have been worse. The new tire I got is a little heavier, but alot more durable than the other one, so hopefully this wont happen again. :o
Moral of the story, if you go biking, make sure that you at least have a patch kit and an air pump. Oh, and maybe a cell phone. :D
