Odd to see noone posted about it yet. My sister lives in that community of town homes that was hit here house was like 8 houses down she had little damage to her house but still it was close enough. JDM was on Kare 11 being interviewed. It is the first tornado I have ever seen personally and hearing it was only an F2 and seeing how much damage a small tornado can do is unreal. It was only about 2 blocks from my parents house here. It was an experience thats for sure.
I completely missed that. When did it happen? Tuesday night??

Happened yesterday afternoon. I was in Alexandria and they had a tornado touch down also. We were in the clear but it was pretty rough. Also driving up on Friday we went through that storm that produced a tornado in St. joseph. We went right through the middle of it and the tornado was on the edge, we didnt see anything but it was black as night driving.
Glad to hear everyone is ok and that the damage was minimal to you guys.
Oh, I guess we were in IA, so we never heard about it then...

24 houses destroyed, estimated 3.6 million in damage.
I just watched the video on Kare11. Wow, that's amazing that no one was injured. Glad to hear your sister is doing ok. Pretty cool seeing JDM on tv :)

I saw it from the freeway heading home Saturday, weird because to the south of the road it was sunny and dry, and to the north was a tornado and dark clouds.
First one I've ever seen in person.

There was a funnel cloud above Mo-Tech down in Oakdale off Granada if anyone knows where that is.
(That's where I work.)
Someone taped it and gave it to me if you wanna see it...
Nothing special...
