I have a boost leak in the back of my motor. I cant feel it, but it sounds like it is coming from behind it by the intake manifold. It has a new Intake manifiold gasket that was put on about 15 miles ago. Should I just assume it is that? I cant feel it, I can just hear it. What would you do?
Thanks

Hook up a boost leak tester and verify where it is coming from before tearing anything apart.

I did and found out it is coming from the back of the motor, but I can't figure out/feel where it is coming from. I can only hear it.

Are you sure its the back of the motor? I heard one from the back of the motor but I sprayed my TB down with some water with soup in it and it bubbled up at that gasket. Id say make a mixture of soup and water and spray around. just dont hit the wire connectors or try not to. and see what bubbles up.

If you two are hungry then toss each others salads or something. This is a tech thread, keep it on the topic at hand please.

I am pretty sure it isn't the TB but I haven't had time to spray it down with soapy water yet.

Leaks by the intake manifold can be very tricky to diagnose. Are you 100% sure you didn't miss a bolt when putting it back on? When boost leak tested does it build any boost or does it leak that bad where it will not build anything?
