Hey all, im in the search for borrowing a ring filer and also a spring compressor. I will be assembling my shortblock and also my head tomorrow in class (friday). If anyone has either of these tools and will let me borrow them for a day, that would be greatly appreciated. I am located in cottage grove, and will be at work till 9:30 tonight. So if you can help me out give me a call and I can have someone run and get it tonight for me. thanks again

No one in on this? I know someone around here has a ring filer handy! We just need to borrow it for about 3-4 hours to get the rings filed then we will return it later on in the day tomorrow.

I don't think very many people own ring filers, besides a ring filer is a pretty spendy tool to just borrow out to someone you don't know.

Not really. A basic ring filer is about 45-50 bucks. And I'm sure most people on here know me/have met me. If youve ever been around Santa you might as well know me, Im almost always with him. I also know Cher knows me, hell, he let me borrow his car for prom and that got returned. Its not like I'm asking to borrow a car or anything.

The only person I know of with a ring filer definately doesn't have the piece of shit $50 one.If you're gonna use something like that, you may as well save $50 and hand file them
