I am not sure if I placed this in the correct area, but I was wondering. Can I move the 3" maft towards the intake, and after the turbo, or is that not allowed? do I need to convert to a map sensor? some specs..pertainin to this topic..it's a 1992 gsx.
-GM mass airflow sensor (3inch)
-MAFT (new version) - suck through setup
I wish to vent, and I was going to move the maft towards the intake mani, and AFTER the turbo. I have maft, safc, and tmo..so tuning is not really an issue..any ideas?

It's called blow thru. You can see where I have my MAF in the attached picture. It will help spool up, and if it is after the BOV you can vent without any negative effects. And you don't need any special parts.

yup, go with a blow-through setup like that, and you can run a tial, the mother of all blow-off-valves:

If you have your maf-t installed and tuned already, you may have to re-tune. maf's might act differently under boost/at after-intercooler temps.

Also an advantage to running the MAF right before the intake mani is if you have a boost leak anywhere before it or if your coupler blows off your intercooler your car will still run fine. Although a side effect of it would be you wouldnt be able to tell if something was wrong like a boost leak unless you do a leak test or have a vacuum gauge.
You stated you have a 3" MAF. So you would need a 3" to 2.5" (or whatever size your UICP is) reducer for each side (2 of them). I would recommend using T-Bolt clamps also or you might have a difficult time with the intercooler pipes blowing off.
