The powerball is getting up there! Hell I bought a few tickets, Burn in hell to you who don't like lottery tickets! I'll let you watch me take my winning ticket of 180 million (or whatever it is) to the bank!

Cory ~ Soon to have a "un-godly DSM"

I really never play the powerball. But, I think I am going to buy a couple tickets since the pot is so high. Hey, someone has to win it at some point.

My thoughts exactly! Might as well be me.

I have worked in a Casino for almost 10 years and have saw countless people lose everything they have over gambling. So I don't hardly ever gamble. If you play enough the odds are way against you, the Casinos and the lottery are not there because people win all the time.

I don't usually get in on powerball, the odds are too tough to beat. I came out about even last year on my first trip to Vegas, and I'm going back there this summer armed with some more card counting abilities.

At my company christmas party this year we had in-house blackjack tables w/ funny-money. They were only using two or three decks of cards, and I counted cards the whole time. I turned $10k into $80k in about 2 hours! :)

This second Vegas trip, btw, is for my honeymoon. I'm getting married in July and asked Anna where she wanted to go for our honeymoon. I offered several places in mexico, fiji, etc. She just looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said, 'can we please just go back to vegas?' ....yea, I'm in love...

Um... ok. You just piss away all you money on lottery tickets and I will put an equal amount of money away. I bet you I will be ahead of you. I don't dislike the lottery. I just don't see the point in giving away money. Maybe the lottery is why you don't have an "un-godly dsm." I like the lottery anyways. As I said before, I have less taxes to pay because of you people.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery than you do of ever having a running DSM so what do you have to lose?

when I get my honda B18 motor in it, it will hopefully run for a little while. I am not worring about the motor until I get the body kit fitted and the car painted lime green first though.

I spend maybe 10-20 bucks a month on lottery tickets, I don' go to the casino, I don't play pull tabs. So my 10-20 bucks a month on powerball tickets makes your theory a little far fetched.

I only play Powerball when I actually remember to pick up a ticket(not very often) and I only buy 1. The odds really don't change between having 1 ticket or 100 tickets.

The other way of looking at it is you cant win if you dont' have a ticket. I might spend $3 a month on Powerball so, the money which I would have invested into it is rather minimal. Any the payout if I would win.... enough said.
