I am thinking benehanas sounds like a plan then maybe bowling afterwards, Before i talked to her tonight i had only said like 12 words to her, we met at stargate on saturday and are going out on friday.
the candlelit dinner would be great if i didnt live with my parents but i do.
I personally would love to take her to Goodfellows in Minneapolis or 510 Resturant but i dont think spending 170 on food for two people is a good idea for a first date....
How much is the average plate at benehanas? and What kind of food is that again? is there a dress code?

If the girl is even remotely worth your trouble, it won't matter if you take her to benehanas or burger king.I've always had good luck just inviting girls over to hang out, but I seem to attract girls with boyfriends ,so that limits the options on going out somewhere.Anyway as long as you are not dull or a complete idiot it won't matter.Unless you just want to get laid, thats a whole other approach.

well im not dull, but the whole idiot thing is another story.... LOL

I went to Goodfellows with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters and the in-laws (1 husband and 2 wives) so a total of 8 people and we ran up a bill of $850.00, It was my parents xmas present to all of us, along with a limo for the night. It was awesome, spendy but awesome.

The only thing about taking her some place expensive is that some women prefer to pay for thier own meal. I've had some that did that. It's usually not a big deal, and I'm not old fashioned or anything, but if she says that after you order, and then the waitress brings her a $50 bill, it might put her on the spot.

I have had girls do that as well, but my solution is that ill just grab the check and give the waitress my card. not even letting her see the prices. But yeah im planning on takeing her to benihanas, then maybe to Bowling or a movie then who knows, she isnt 21 so the bar is out of the question.

Benihanas without drinks is cheap. The meals range from about $15/plate for chicken to $25/plate for filet mignon and lobster. Fried rice is an extra couple of bucks and sodas are as well. $50 should easily cover your tab.

Yeah, I got one of the bigger meals it is the samurai triple or something like that, steak chicken and shrimp, it was like 21.95 or 23.95 and it was an assload of food. So $50 - $60 if you go all out but only drink pop/water...
