So, I had this crack in my exhaust pipe, towards the rear, near the diff. And that crack became a flap. Well, a few days ago that flap started to..flap. It got soo annoying that I wanted to just tear it off, but then i'd need a new exhaust. Tonight i TEMPORARILY fixed it. I used a metal mountain dew can, and some metal clamps..fixed it. I am a genious..

They sell special metal straps that do exactly what you did...only cost more I'm sure ;)

No, we have all done stuff like that, just we aren’t proud of being ghetto. And haven’t done it recently enough to post it, because we learned the right way to fix things.

Bingo! Did you hear me bragging about the time my front bumper fell off on the highway and I had to zip-tie it back on just to get home (well, actually to Denny's then home)?

now. now, I am more suprised that I did it in the first place. I am not proud of the fact that I have a mountain dew can covering the hole in my exhaust, but as i stated..it's temporary. I just gotta find someone to weld it shut, if ben at work can't do it..

If a hole rusted in it, the metal around it is probably shit and you won't be able to weld it. Rust doesn't like to weld very well!
