Each year the MNSC opener has been bigger than the prior year. Last year there were just over 150 cars that showed up throughout the day. MNSC has grown a TON over the past year, we have no idea what to expect this year for a turnout. It would be awesome to have a pack of DSMs show up and park together.

When: Sunday May 15th
Time: 12pm to 5pm - pls dont come more that 10min early if possible
Where: Weaver Lake Park, Maple Grove Map to Weaver Lake (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=8401+Dunkirk+Ln+N+Maple+Grove,+MN&hl=en)

Events Planned:
1. CoTM Competition
2. Digitalk Photo Sign Up
3. Sponsor Giveaways
4. Raffles
5. Meet the MNSC Staff
6. BBQing
7. Other misc contests
8. Future Events
9. possible more as it develops

Now the loooong info on the above topics and misc stuff
1. No tom foolery pls - anyone raising cane, doing burnouts, just being a jackass will be asked to leave. period!!
2. When you arrive at the park look for the Yellow Staff shirts. We are going to telling people where to park to keep the group compact. We dont get to rent the whole lot.
3. After arriving, pls proceed to the gazeebo and check in with the staff and get an update on the days activities
4. COTM - this is on a first come first serve basis. We will be open to 6-10 entrants. If you are entering the competition you will be asked to park in the designated area. Please fillout the mod sheet given to you and place it on your dash. When the competition starts you will get 5min to talk about your car prior to member voting
5. Meeting the staff - since there are lots of n00bz and lots of new staff members we will all be introducing ourselves for you all to poke fun at us.
6.DigitalK aka kris, will have a table setup to take down signups for his dare I say professional pics. He is giving the club a group discount based on the number of people signing up. So check out his work and get your car snapped!!
7. BBQ is obvious. this is not all you can eat. 5$ get you 2 tickets good for 2 grilled items, bag of chips and a soda/water. Extra soda/water is 1$/ea PLEASE have small bills!!!!!!!!!!
8. Rest is self explanatory. come, have fun and see what we are REALLY about. Big meets and lots of friendships. See ya there!

We'll see if I go. I'll probably end up staying in Duluth until Sunday afternoon sometime. The previous MNSC meet this spring wasn't exactly stellar.

I'm in as well.

Who wants to ride in a caravan of DSM's into the meet???

We should meet up and run it in together!

Where/when should we meet???

That's what happens when you toss together a meet in a week's time. This is an officially scheduled MNSC event... That last gathering was more of a last minute effort to cure everyone's spring fever and to help collect some money for Dan N.

I hope the 15th is a good time for everyone and I'd probably be there if I was in the Cities.
