how the hell is he running 342 whp at 17psi? that's amazing, what other mods did the dude have? makes me feel alot better about buying my new 50 trim!

He has a 2G, so it is 8.5:1 compression, which helps a little. He also has a huge AMS FMIC kit, HKS 272s, a 1G throttle body, and a Magnus sheetmetal intake manifold. The car isn't half assed together, so that is usually worth a bit more HP. He hasn't run race gas, so I don't know what it would make at 22-25psi yet. A friend of mine with a T3/T4 50-trim, HKS 272s, Skyline FMIC cored kit that me and him made, stock 2G intake manifold made 329whp at something like 18psi. We were have bad knocking problems though, couldn't push the boost any higher on pump gas, he got some shit gas on his drive to Minnesota. We drained the tank and put race gas in and made 403whp at around 23psi.

that's insanely awesome to hear for some reason, this guy that you know i'm hoping to do almost the same set-up, i want a magnus but i'm told to just put in the 1g intake manifold that i have for now. i have the smaller Greddy 18r, and i was thinking later on in the future getting a big intercooler just because>> plus, it looks sick as hell! i'm happy as hell hearing about that dude with his 50trim. thanks for the reply, makes me feel better about paying 965.00 for it!

Don't get your hopes up too high. Most people don't pull numbers like that, but if you get the right parts and put the car together correctly, you should get some decent numbers.

don't worry about getting my hopes up, i've heard enough horror stories from you guys about shit breaking, this car is my pride and joy, i try to give it the best that i can give and finding the right parts for it is all i'm about, that's why i've been posting so much lately, just trying to get info fast so i know, don't worry, i've toned down a lot on the threads and reply's, i'm just excited as hell for friday to show up, date i get the car back from shindley. thanks for the help

Thinkning of rebuilding the thing before it breaks down, sometime by the end of the summer.

Don't rebuild the 7 bolt if you are worried about it lasting. It
could crankwalk. Who knows your motor isn't walking right now. Both of my 2g's were walking along with one of my friends.

Don't rebuild it. Throw in a 6 bolt when the other goes and call yourself set. If you are set on a rebuild, rebuild a 6 bolt. Don't waste your time with another 7 bolt.
