98, Tsi, AWD, AUTO, big16, DSMLink, Walbo 225, 650 injectors, Apexi turboback etc...

Looking to finally tune up my Tsi right with the DSM link. Running into alot of random phantom knock, and am ready to get some other opinions to get the car straightened out.

As far as I know Elite has a good rep, but only has a FWD Dyno?

And "purpulsion" has the only local AWD Dyno but their rep is that they but really don't know what they are doing.

Being that this car is auto I'm going to need to get this on a AWD dyno, but I don't want it wrecked by some hacks.

Any ideas on where to go with this?

Thanks in advance.....

Howie

Jana and I delt with with the AT situation and I tried to explore the FWD conversion on an AT, but it just isn't an option. It's RS Motors which moved to the south (burnsville I think) that now has the AWD dyno. The 3S club (3000GTs and Stealths) just had a dyno day there this saturday. Maybe one of those guys will elaborate more on the setup.

As for Elite I would still give them a buzz if your looking for thier hands on experiance. I don't think they will tune at another shop, but I am pretty sure with advance timing/planning having them street tune it might be an option. I think they have a wideband avail for that as well, but not 100%.

RS Motors does have a wideband and they are now in Burnsville. Can't say I'd trust them to tune my car though.

Thanks much for the tips guys, think I'll start by giving Elite a call and play it from there.
