It depends on what year the car is, what model, and if it is an eclipse or talon.

Go to Crutchfield.com and look up our car... as we have no idea what kind of car you drive.

On a 2g it's usually the Infinity crap with the micro amps built onto the speakers, so if you upgrade your radio or speakers, you have to change everything.

There should be speakers in the doors and rear interior quarters, if you have a top line system, there may be speakers in the dash, on a 2g if that's what we are talking about.

1G's have 4" speakers in the dash, 5.25" or 6 3/4" speakers in the front doors, and 6 3/4" or 6x9" (6x9" grill for both) speakers in the rear panels. I believe the 93-94 are the cars with the larger doors speakers (rectangular speaker grill rather than circle), and from what I saw, all turbo models came with the rear 6x9's (maybe not in the base turbo Lasers?).

I don't think all 2g's have infinities. I think talons have diferent speakers than eclipses. I think the infinities sound good, I am not sure why you don't like yours.

Both Talons and Eclipses can or can not be equipped with the Infiniti speakers/deck/amp; it all depends on what options the car was purchased with.

I don't think the Infinities are crap at all. They sound really good. I changed the door speakers to Sony xPLODs, added a 12" sub with a 500watt amp and i'm good. I actually prefer the factory deck over any aftermarket deck. I hate the look of an aftermarket.

I got a 1992 talon ESI. So i believe its 4" in the front dash... 5 1/4 in the door... and 6x9's in the rear

Infinity in 2G's should be centrally amped under the seat, not on the individual speakers. Infinity does make a system like that, but is only used in the newer vans, trucks and such.

And in 1G's, I have done so many and you can almost never anticipate what is in there. You can fit a shallow 6x9 in the rear, or most any 6 1/2 with an appropriate mounting plate. For the fronts it is either 5 1/4 or 6 1/2, it just depends. Most Eclipse'ss were 6 1/2, where most Talon's are 5 1/4. Just hork your door off and see.
