Hey guys, anyone know if 245/45-17 will fit on stock 2g 17" rims?
Stock is listed as 215/50-17.
TIA.

245/45-17 are fine, that what I ran on my '97 GSX wheels. The Sumitomo's had less sidewall buldge than the factory RS-A's.

I had 225/45 Yokohama AVS... they did buldge a bit, but that might have been due to the sidewalls. I think 245's might be a bit too much for 6.5 stockers. Just my .02

245 is too much for that rim..you need 7 inch wide rims for that..i used to work at tires plus, so i know tires..just to give ya a lil of my backround..

Yeah, 245's are not recommended to go on a 6.5" wheel. I run 235's on my 8" wide wheels and they sit nice.

Man I fucked that up! I meant to say I ran 225/45-17's w/o a problem! 245's would be way too wide for a 6.5" rim.
