I was driving home from work, and now, besides the boost issues I have, my car now dies every time I push in the clutch. It idle's rough too. I was wondering if perhaps it could be the fuel filter or something? I wanna get this fixed asap, as it's my only source of transportation. This happened when i got the car, but i put the pipe back on to recirculate the bov, and that seemed to fix it. now, the problem is back, and I don't know what to do. Even when i restart it at a light, the car might still spudder, and then die again..this is driving me NUTS!!

So you are recirculating, and it still acts as if it isnt? My guess would be a major boost/vaccum leak somewhere. Did the same thing when I forgot to connect my PCV valve to the intake manifold.

That's what i was thinking. He's making me a new tube taht will move the maft towards the throttle manifold, and that will help quite a bit. I just find it hard to believe that this is such a big problem..I mean something as little as escaping air, can cause a major problem with the car not running..it's getting air, spark, and fuel. This sucks..

Posting here in the tech arean is only going to get you so far Swifty. You are just going to have to start ruling out things that have to with your symptoms. Do as was stated above, check for vacuum/boost leaks first. Then start going to spark plug wires, coil, ignition related stuff. Then after that start looking into the fuel supply. Then if you can't get anywhere with them things I would start checking electrical things.

Well, I checked..the fuel pump is definatly on (it's 190lhp, hardwired) and the injecotors( 550) are not clogged. I think it's a boost leak, cause the car KINDA sounds like it's venting, and It doesn't hold boost the way it should. I was wondering if perhaps the stock spring in the wastegate could do that? It's got the 34mm flapper, but no upgraded spring..where can I get an upgrade for that, and how hard is it to install? Could the dieing on my when the clutch is in, be due to a bad speed sensor? The spedometer seems to work fine, so I am jsut trying to rule out more issues. I am gonna find a spray bottle, and mix in some water with a little bit of soap to see what's going on..hopefully, I can find the issue. I also think the timing needs to be adjusted, and the idle re-set..speaking of idle, do i really need to ground the plugs, and then turn the biss screw, or can't i jsut turn the dang screw? That's what I've done, but what does the grounding of the fusebox, and plug behind the battery yield?

Don't forget about the biss screw (Base Idle Set Screw). It may have backed out. Or the o-ring could have hardened causing it to leak by it, thus messing up idle. Something to keep in mind at least.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read the end of your last post.
