My cousin's 92 eagle talon tsi awd has bog. Well, when ever he revs it high and clutches, the car shakes. He tells me its hard to explain what the problem is. When he drives it normally, nothing happens, but when he revs it and upshifts, the car shakes alot like you're having a seizure (sorry for spelling). He just got the Walbro 255 in and I was wondering if it had to do anything with the fuel/air regulator...or something like that, just some of my theories. My brother said that the fuel line is probably clogged and not enough fuel is getting in the engine? Thanks if any help! If not descriptive enough, I will reply back again ASAP. THANKS! :D

Oh yeah...he says its coming from the engine, not the tranny.

Sounds like bad plugs or wires. I would guess the wires with the info given. When was the last time it had a tune up done?

Mine used to shutter under pinned throttle and around 3500-4000rpm when the plug wires were bad.

I'll go to his house today, ride in it, see how it is and see or hear where the problem is. It's whenever you rev it high, upshift and right as you up shift, the car shakes alot. mostly seems like coming from the engine.

Then I don't know what to tell you. I thought you meant that it did it under load. Or maybe I'm just not understanding what you are trying to describe.

sure sounds like fuel starvation from the pump, but if it still doest it with a full tank, then thats out of the question, what about the BOV return hose, when I pull mine off and be ghetto, it will do that because you blow off a bunch of metered air, that doesn't make it to the engine, so it actually floods for a second, causing it to stop firing momentarilly

I didn't even think about the recirc hose. If that is off of there it can cause drivability issues without proper tuning. But usually if you pin the throttle it will run fine. It's mid range with partial throttle that usually makes it buck if the recirc hose is gone and the BOV is vented.

If the bov is vented, it doesn"t matter if you are at WOT unless you shift like me with the foot on the gas. It will always "bog" down when you enter the next gear.

Even if you speed shift there is a good chance the car will still bog, when I had a SSQV on my car even if I shifted with my foot on the gas the car would fall on its face for a moment then take off. Either way, it will hamper the performance of your car if you don't have the proper equiptment to vent.
