Identify the coolant leak

no I didn't replace that yet, I will,
I am just trying to find the problem.
I cleaned the whole area and that hose is not leaking, the car has not been ran all week , and that hose is not wet at all so I dont think thats the main problem

Did you start the car to check for leaks?

I personally dont' know if I believe that line is cracked by the pic. I think it does look like it could be, but I wouldn't say for sure without seeing the line up close. From the way the coolant is dripping on the front side of the oil filter housing though and that it is wet up higher than the lowest point on that side still makes me lean toward something above it, (waterpump, or even the o-ring for the waterpipe) as the source at least for that leak.

It is definately possible that it is something more serious, but those damn hoses spray like a mofo though, it could be just spraying up there too. Those hoses are the easiest and cheapest place to start. If nothing else it is good preventive maintenance.

Well the car has not even been started fora a week so It's not spraying anywhere. I cleaned up all the leakage to try to see where it's comming from and the best I can tell is it comes from right above the releif plug on the oil filter bracket. It is such a slow leak!!!
I started the car and went under and looked at it and it still leaks super slow. :confused:
