Pop Up Headlights?

How do you keep the headlights down and still be able to have your lights on?

Is there a fuse you pull out so that they dont go up or what? And how well does the light still shine through? Is it mainly just for looks or does it actually light well enought to drive at night.

u can do like i did. u take off the lil plastic floor/foot panel under the dashboard and the one to the right of it. then u reach up in there and u will see an ass load of wires and connectors. taped around the outside of one of these connectors is a tiny lil connector thing. it has 3 wires going in it, and none coming out. well that connector is actually 2 pieces. its a housing with a lil fuse like thingy inserted into the end of it. Just remove that inserted thingy (about the size of a chiclet), it might take like 5 minutes to get it out. but once u get it out your headlights will be like mine. what it does is this:
your headlights will no longer pop up when u turn the light switch on, it now just controls the lights turning on and off. BUT u can still use that extra lil pop up button to pop the headlights up and down. ONE CATCH THOUGH, you have to have the headlamp switch in the OFF or PARKING LIGHT position to make the headlights go up and down with that switch. once u turn the headlamp switch fully on so the actual headlights are on, they will not move up and down with that button until u once again shut them off or put it in the parking light position. but with that being said, u can hit the button to make them pop up, but quickley turn the headlight switch on, and they will stop right where they were and the headlights will turn on, which will give u the kinda squinting look if u know what i mean. Or if its a really dark night and u really need the headlights at there full potential, u can have them all the way up. or if u don't need them fully, u can just leave them all the way down or have them squinted. With them all the way down, i usually have the highbeams on. since its going thru that other lense, its not bright to oncoming cars. but with them all the way down, it really doesn't do very much good for night time driving, it hardly lights the road up. Give it a try, its a wonderful lil free mod. If you are having a hard time, just lemme know, i will go take my shit apart for u and take pictures of exactly what im talking about. but its real easy, just take of those 2 floor panels, u have to be blind to not see the big wire/connector jumble up in there. just pull it all down as far as u can, and look for this lil connector thingy taped to the outside of one of the wire jumbles. but like i said, lemme know if ur having problems. later man

Pull the fuse under the hood. My lights shine through pretty good with my high beams on.

ya but if u pull the fuse, then u will not be able to adjust them on the go. do it my way and u can have em up or down or halfway, which ever way u want, and u don't have to pull over and screw with a fuse.
