If alpine is going to be updating their lineup anytime soon, I've heard that they are going to through a friend but I am not sure if its really reliable info or not, just wondering if anyoen know.

Um.... As every manufacturer does, they did this year. Every year, models change, features get added, prices change and so on. I have quite a bit of experience with Alpine, so if you have any specific questions, just ask. And ignore anything ACRucrazy might say about the topic as he is a douche. ;)

Alpine just did a new lineup mid last year, so it should be coming up soon like around july. And dont pay attention to what alpineTSI or acr says, they work for best buy. LOL jk

Ah well, my friend and I were both looking at the iPod interface but right now how the scrolling works I considering it unusable and I was going to wait to see if they fix that in the next revisions.

Alpine has 2 headunits with GlideTouch for quicker scrolling. The CDA-9853 and CDA-9855.

www.crutchfield.com 30-day return policy for any reason plus free wiring/install kits, I've ordered multiple decks and sets of speakers at once to decide which I like once they have arrived and I've listened to them. One of their phone advisors told me to do this :)
