View Full Version : Wheel won't come off.
Ok I hate this shit but have to ask. Any more tricks out there to getting a wheel off a car? I have the car in the air, and have tried kicking, pulling, and a BFH. Nothing besides a little rust comming off the rims.

Take the lug nuts off
That's about all you can do is hit it harder. But when you put them back on, make sure to use a little anti-sieze on the back of the wheel and/or the hat of the rotor. That will make it easier to get off in the future.
Better yet, take the lugs off, and then drive it around, and take some corners real fast. I bet they'd come off then.:D
HA! That would be funny, you funny guy. Why don't you drive out here and help, i mean do it for me. lol

Have the lugs 1/2 way screwed on and drive *slowly* around your neighborhood until you hear the wheels pop loose.

Or just spray a little WD-40 in there, wait a little while, and it should pop right off
I got the wheels of, just some more TLC with the BFH. But then I ran into a Caliper that in no way shape or form wanted to part ways with the car. I have them soaking in WD40 right now and will spary it again tonight and tomorrow and try again wednesday if I have more time.

WD40 worked for me when my wheel was stuck on. Make sure you clean the lugs so the lugnuts can be torqued properly.
