you could get a used 2600 for around 200 or so, but you won't find a new one much cheaper than $389+shiping or tax from a local.
They are cheaper than 389 all over the net if you look. Sure not much cheaper but like I said earlier SLS does list it for $380 and since they use usps they probably have another 15 in shipping.
