View Full Version : RWD Sport Compacts/Imports
Ok besides the RX7/8s, and Supras what are some of the other fun RWD sport compacts out there? Mainly starting to gauge instrest in something that could be a reliable car after a few bolt ons and could have some fun on the Rally X course. The only thing else I can think of would be a 240.
Any comments on rear ends, suspension, and overall durability would be great.

definatly a 240. I was looking into those, and became a member of a few of those sites, just for fun. The stock 2.4l motor (nicknamed the truck motor) has a good torque amount, and with a nice turbo kit from boostdesigns, you'd be solid gold. GREAT fun. Another option is a s2000. A bit more pricey, but with the world's most power per liter motor in that car, you know fun is in there somewhere. Just watch out for the soft-tops. They get wear holes right where the hinges are. An older bmw would fit the bill too. It is an import, and while it's euro, it's still rwd, and you can find them for a decent price. If i think of more, i'll post back.

Isuzu Impulses. They made turbo RWD ones... here's the best place to find em. Many came with Lotus suspension. (and they're cheap!)

Starquests damnit! Stay Mitsu ;) Quests are cool! Mr Cabe said something about working on a quest was like dating your ugly sister or something to that effect, not sure what he has been doing in his spare time.

Check 3 for a quest. They are probably cheaper than a 240, not to mention more stealth, AND you'll know your way around them better than a nissan.
