I just ran across a website based out of Apple Valley by the name of Faster Than Them Motorsports. I was reading about Bullseye no longer being a Toonerz sponsor and then saw these guys in Apple Valley listeed as a Toonerz sponsor. I'm just curious if anyone has done business or anything with them since by their website, they appear to be a decently established group?

By the way, if anyone wants to read a fabulous thread containing the Dave Hall (Bullseye) & Martin Ruiz (The Speed Factor) versus Luke Capitano (redrkt) & Mike Johnson (NOSLO2PT0), check this out: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169430&page=1&pp=25

One of the guys who runs Faster Than Them is on this site. His name is Craig-if I remember right, but I forgot what his screen name is.

Yeah that's Craig. bugdoubt on here. Her owns FTT and DSMLife.com. It's currently a home based business. He was the one looking to hire someone and posted the ad on this site not too long ago. I've met him a few times when I was at QPR.

I thought it was pretty damn hilarious watching them rip apart Bullseye Power/DSM Performance/Extreme Turbo/Dave Hall. I do kind of feel bad for Martin Ruiz & The Speed Factor though because from what I've seen, it seems as if he's just another victim and not really trying to scam people.

And they never really do give any more useful info about the turbo. I haven't looked into these turbos myself but what is all the hype about?
I bought a greddy shift knob from him (fasterthanthem) off of ebay and he wanted $12 shipping to Mankato MN, he wouldn't let me pick it up or lower the shipping because thats where he makes his money I don't agree with that statement and I don't think ebay does either. Just my personal experience with fasterthanthem.

There isn't any hype about Faster Than Them, I was simply asking if anyone knew anything about them, which obviously you do. All the hype is in reference to Bullseye; Faster Than Them & Bullseye are two completely different groups.

Same thing with the company im currently buying my FMIC off of, They want $40 to ship it 20 minutes to my house, I tried to contact them over and over agian and then just decided to pay them and they are shipping it out. it should be here on monday or tuesday, but damn a simple no you cant pick it up would be nice. Companys on ebay all do this, say the company is in california, they will get an estimate from UPS for shipping to new york or florida and just charge that as a flat rate. its not fair but its the way it is.

The problem with Martin and Speed Factor though is that he acts like he knows all this shit about these turbos he pushes at everyone on these other DSM sites and crap and is just another mostly internet speed shop. He just regurgitates what PTE and Bullseye tell him and passes it onto his customer without having any real experience with anything. PTE makes some decent turbos but you really don't want to get most of your info or sizing/power information from them directly, they are new to imports and more used to bigger displacement Grand Nationals. Sometimes when we get turbos from them, we have to lie to them about what kind of car it is going on so that they don't try to talk us out of buying it. They think a high reving Honda mean 6000RPMs and anything bigger than their basic T3/T4s are too big for 4 cylinders. Their HP ratings are usually way off too, believe me, there isn't a 115hp difference between a 50-trim and 60-trim.
