I think it was 11 hours if we went straight thru, so prolly like 700 miles for us.

Yeah you know that never happens though. We stopped tons of times last year. Hopefully it will be cooler this year since it is a little later in the year, fuck was it hot last year on the way down there.

It was pretty cool-weather wise compared to the year before when it was 90 every single day.
I can't wait.... the parking lots full of swapping turbos, trannys, and all the teamwork of figuring out what blew up.

Wasn't it like 95 degrees from Chicago on? I thought in traffic Matt J. and I were seeing almost 100 degree temps on the highway. Hopefully it won't be anybody from out group broke down this year. Last year went pretty good except for a coupld of mishaps.
I still can't believe that JET drove his car all the way there, ran it all three days, had to be 40+ runs and then drove it home with almost no problems. Plus raced a Taurus SHO in some shit town that I could never get back to if I tried and it still made it. Plus it was crankwalked to hell the whole time. Funny shit.
Evertime I look at this thread it gives me the ich for spring/summer to get here. :headache:

Lotsa people have room. I have like... 4 in my room (me, CVD, hughes, Joe(gixxer), um..... kevin?(santa)) w/ 2 beds right now, but all I know is I call bed since I booked it. Whoever else want floor room is more than welcome to split the bill as there is plenty of that for chump change. :jammin:

Hey Curtis give me a call. JET and I might have room for you in the RV. We are staying at the track. Should be a good time. Let me know before somebody else takes that spot if they haven't already.

It was wicked hot last year!! The temp was reading just shy of 100 when we made that stop outside of Chi town. I should know, JDM and I were in my Talon with NO ac the whole ride there. Yeah, raining with the windows up, with no AC, no thanks!
Plus, we hit almost 120 degree track temps last year. I clearly remember hearing 116 degree track temp. Wait, who am I kidding, I was too drunk to remember anything about the trip except for the fact that it was fun.
