An Iowa Representative by the name of Steve King is working to get a bill going in the US House of Representatives which would declare English as the US' official language. Personally I believe it is a great idea and wish it would have happened years ago. Whatcha ya'll think?

Id say thats a good idea... but since caucasions are become the minority, if we have to vote for it we will lose, haha.

That is not english, nor does this statement make any sence what so ever. Try using the US official language next time. :)

English is not the official language of the US... nothing is at the moment. A few states have made the law but as a whole it's not done yet.

How exactly would this benefit anything? Just curious. And I don't care if caucasions are becoming the minority. I'm gunna be aiding in that by marrying an asian and having little asian babies!!

Here's one way it would affect the US:
If another language begins to overtake English as the main language of the US, our currency would eventually be converted to that. Weird thought.
What the hell does language have to do with our currency?? Just because we spend dollars doesn't mean that we have to speak english.
