I have a 92 Plymouth laser. I just got a data logger and it read there was a o2 sensor code and the knock seemed high. Whould a bad sensor cause a high knock and what should nock be on the car if I am running everything stock at 10psi?

I would not expect any knock on a stock car but many things could be causing it, have you always been filling up with premium? I believe that the ecu uses the front O2 sensor to detect rich/lean so maybe it is possible that it is causing the knock if that is true but for some reason I doubt that just a bad sensor would cause knock on a stock car.

As long as i have had the car i have used 92 oct I knew the previous owner and he was a dsm guy also so i doubt he would have used anything less, is ther anything else that would couse it?

The only reason i asked about gas is just because iidently mixed in some regular it might affect that tank of gas, but if that was the case it wouldn't matter after it's all been used. Hard to tell what exacty what be causing it without being there, maybe you could try replacing plugs? Last time my plugs fouled the car would miss and it would register as knock.
