View Full Version : What would you do??
I just posted up my Talon on a few forums to see if I could possibly sell it. I'm really lookin into the SRT-4's. I'd like to know your guys opinions on the SRT-4 and would you actually consider giving up your DSM for one?

Personally, FWD makes me sad. RWD makes me crazy! AWD is just right.
Probably a really fun car though. never driven one.

SRT-4 is a good bang for the buck. But the DSM has way more potential in the long run.
CRAIG
why is it that they depreciate in value soo quick, I see many srt-4's under14k with under 15xxx miles on them.

If you like buttloads of wheelspin, srt-4s are pretty cool, if you really want to stay quick, keep the DSM.

Mike, that is a pretty one-sided statement. I know Ryan (Mr.Raced) had been working on an SRT-4 and with some simple upgrades Motor Mounts, better tires, etc. They were able to get a handle on the wheelspin. Granted, its nothing like AWD, but still not shabby for a FWD. Not to mention, you are driving a "new" car versus a car built over a decade ago. Mike, have you even driven any of the SRT-4s? I really liked the car, other than the lack of 5k launches. To each their own though.

You asked for an opinion and you got it.
They may be 10 year old cars, but neither Mitsu or Dodge have matched the performance potential of them yet, in my opinion.
If you want a SRT-4, and it sounds like you do, then just get it.

EVO?
As for the SRT-4, well do what you want. It's your $$$, but I wouldn't go to a WWD car after having a AWD car. Just my opinion though. Go for a drive if you can get the $$ for one. Talk to Josh S at Rosedale Dodge if your serous about it.
