S4's are sweet, so are Evo's and and all kinds of other cars. Joe asked about the STI. Joe, my advice is to sell me your eclipse and buy an STI. They are nice reliably quick with a warranty, HIDs, and great interior. I would check insurance prices, and if you really plan to mod it in the future I would really look into the cost and amount of work first. Good luck with your decision and my check book will be standing by. ;-)

s4's would be nice, but it's too much of a family sedan to me

yeah talk to your insurace company first, there might be price differences between years/options that could really save you money. I don't tknow what your overall plans are but it seems like Subaru backs there STi's better than Mitsubishi treats EVO owners.

Definately check ALL your options thru your insurance company. It may make up your mind for you.

Also, Subaru is just as bad as Mitsu when it comes to not backing a warranty. I believe one of our rallycrossers got denied a warranty claim because they saw a picture of his car in a rallycross.

EVO's aren't that much fun to drive and the interior sucks for what they cost (its right on par with $15k cars aka the other Lancers), when I was considering them I was quite disapointed after the test-drive. It would make a great winter car/DD, but as far as a "fun" car goes it wouldn't cut it for me. Just my 3 pennies.

Wow, I really enjoyed the EVO on the test drives I have taken. I have not driven the STi, but I am a huge fan of the styling on the car. I would say either would be a great choice for a DD esp. in this state.
