When you guys are at junk yards check out Mirages.Turns out they have Eprom ECUs in them, the same ECUs that come in 91+ DSMs.Of course its an NT ECU, but they can be fairly easily converted to turbo ECUs.Its another option if you can't find a turbo eprom ECU, and probably easier to find/cheaper than getting one out of a DSM.If anybody finds one or more and doesn't want it, I'll buy it/them at a profit to you.

That is very interesting. I might have to make a trip out there. Any specific year or model Mirage they were made in?

Not sure, I forgot to check the year of the car it was in.Early 90's I would guess.

It needs the knock board and a few other small things from the turbo ECUs.I have extra turbo ECU parts, so yeah, I could convert it.

um... also, how do you tell if it is an Eprom, are all of them? Or only certain trim levels?

Open it up and look for an EPROM.It will be in the corner opposite the connector. It has 28 pins(14 on each side), is 1.5" X .5" and will have a sticker that says "E930" or something similar. They will usually have an "E" in the lower corner of the front part number label as well, but I don't know how reliable that is.

They sell for around $30 on ebay. I talked to Tom Dorris about these a while back, he also said they weren't too hard to convert.

I would guess these ECUs were available in 89-92 Mirages... the same years that they were equipped with 4G15 and optional 4G61T motors (easily swappable with the 4G63)
