Anyone know anything about this company and it's products? He has what, to me, appears to be a decent smim for a very decent price. It does have a tappered plenum, as well as velocity stacks. What about venuri designed into the runners? It doesn't say anything about that, so I'm guessing it doesn't have that. I am no expert when it comes to this so it'd be nice to hear what everyone else has to say about this.

Browsed the whole site; products look decent however I have never heard of them. And the $450 price for the intake manifold isn't all that great without a proven name if you ask me. I like there roll cages though, I didn't see a price on them but the welds look good and the fitment looks good as well.

I don't know what to think about the water to air intercooler project. Good idea, but looks to be a lot of work with the cutting and re-welding of the passenger side fender well.

That design actually looks pretty solid. It is pretty similar to the ones I might be making. I have come up with a pretty cool design, but I haven't gotten prices yet. I hope to be in the $400 - $450 range.

Jim's products are growing in popularity quite quickly. From what I remember, his name and products have really started showing up around different boards within about the last 6 months. I have yet to read a review of his products that is anything but 100% positive. I've seen pictures of his heat shield on a few different rides and it looks great. With the price of the Magnus increasing, the weld-blowing problems of the Venom, and the number of people downplaying the Forrester (SLS for one), I can definitely see why his popularity is growing.

It doesn't look bad for the money.

Yeah Jet and I were just talking about them. I think that developing a intake manifold is kinda like re-inventing the wheel. Yeah you might have a cool design and a good look. But when it comes right down to it, people are going to 1) buy one that is proven that costs alot of money or 2) buy one thats cheaper but probably does close to the same thing. But if you are planning to develope and intake manifold, something cheap, durable, and a good price is the way to get a name for yourself.

Ya I've just read about their intake mani's. People seem to be saying they like them, but really no numbers or anything. Just hear-say which doesn't amount to that much. But I guess to me it still looked fairly decent. I'm going to be in the market for an intake manifold and am just trying to see all my options. The Magnus seems to really be one of the top performers from all my reading i've been doing. But 700 bucks, that's a lot of money and a semi-large investment in my books. Not trying to cheap out, just see all my options before dishing out that money. If the others out there quality just doesn't compare, then I will just have to dish out the money. But I'd like to cover all angles first, and this manifold caught my eye. I'd still like to see if QPR ever comes out with their design. And what kinda price range that'd be in. *cough* MIKE *cough* j/k man!!!

QPR has a design for an intake manifold. Its on a car in our driveway. Unless Mike has came up with something else since then which I am sure he did.
